Ideal for powering all Ubiquiti devices that work with PoE on 24V, such as Nanostation series, Picostation, UniFi, PowerBeam, AirGrid, nanobeam, Rocket.
It is a PoE switch 24V with possibility of installation on the rack cabinet. It provides 24V DC power supply and data transmission over a single Ethernet cable.
It also has a remote management function to enable / disable the power on PoE ports.
POE-FSH8PW also supports other useful network management functions, such as port based VLAN, Tag VLAN, bandwidth control per port, Trunking and Broadcast Storm Control.
For wireless HotSpot or WISP the switch allows the creation of a more secure and flexible network infrastructure as well as facilitating and lower cabling costs and space caused by the installation of individual power supplies PoE otherwise needed.
POE-FSH8PW for HotSpot
The switch is a complete solution for hotels, restaurants and public places in general. No need for additional plug points to power the access point, just connect an ethernet cable from the access point to the switch (of course, the access point must support PoE power supply via 24V).
VLAN tag Based
Unlike conventional switches, POE-FSH8PW supports many advanced features. For example, it allows network administrators to configure VLAN groups across different switches.
Remote management and updating via web browser
The switch allows users to manage through local LAN or over the Internet from web browser. It also supports general statistics to monitor usage and network traffic.
