It is a five port Gigabit Ethernet router for locations where wireless connectivity is not required. Compared to hEX, the hEX S also features one SFP port and PoE output on the last port.
It is affordable, small and easy to use, but at the same time it is equipped with a powerful 880 MHz dual core CPU and 256 MB RAM, which can support all the advanced configurations supported by RouterOS. The device features USB 2.0, PoE output for 5 Ethernet port and a 1.25 Gbit/s SFP cage.
IPsec hardware encryption (~470 Mbps) and Dude server package are supported, the microSD slot on it provides better r/w speed for Dude and file storage.
